  • MIPIM 2025: It’s a wrap! 🎬 The atmosphere at MIPIM 2025 was filled with energy, optimism, and forward-thinking discussions. Despite global challenges, the real estate market is showing signs of recovery, and one thing is clear: transformation is the key to success. The big topics this year?  💼 The industry is shifting toward long-term strategies and strong partnerships rather than short-term wins.  🌱 Sustainability and digitalization are no longer optional – they are essential for future-proofing assets and creating real value.  🏢 The potential for existing buildings is huge, and the integration of smart data will be critical to streamline processes and decision-making. But we have to be open-minded and rethink our business models. The industry is evolving, and so are we.  We are committed to innovative, sustainable solutions and reliable partnerships that drive long-term success.    Thank you to Stefanie Lütteke, Gary Reeve, Lucia Wojnicka and Marc Schömbs! for sharing your insights!   #MIPIM2025 #greenbuilding #urbandevelopment #investment #dreso

  • 🏢 MIPIM 2025: Expert insights from Drees & Sommer!  As this year's MIPIM is coming to an end, we are excited to share an insightful video featuring our Divisional Director from Drees & Sommer Luxembourg, HUGUES LERMUSIAUX, discussing his impression of MIPIM 2025. 🎥 As building stock is one of our society’s essential resources. With 85% of buildings in Europe being over 20 years old, refurbishment of existing assets is a pressing challenge. ❓ How can we future-proof existing buildings in a world of evolving work trends? ❓ Is building flexibility the ultimate key to value preservation? ❓ Can energy efficiency and profitability go hand in hand? Hugues puts it in a nutshell: "The key to lasting value? Flexible design, smart technology, and energy efficiency."   🔗 Watch the full video below and share any thoughts and questions about the challenges of refurbishing existing buildings in the comments, if you like. We would be happy to take part in them. #Dreso #MIPIM2025 #Refurbishment #Innovation #Sustainability #FutureOfWork

  • Last week our Senior Change Manager and Innovation Ambassador Peter Robertsson participated in an event arranged by the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce. The topic for the get together was in conjunction with the series Capital of Tech: Nordic Readiness and the Future of AI. The focus of the session was to go through new developments and have a closer look at in what way Stockholm can keep on building a steadfast ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship going forward. Looking back at the event, Peter shared the following: “One of my general reflections from the event is that we have fallen a bit behind in Sweden and Europe, when it comes to AI if you compare it to other large economies in the world, which is a bit disappointing. However, there are plenty of opportunities for us to remedy this and to be able to do that we really need to collaborate across borders and between the public sector and the business world. We also all need to be actionable and we need to act on it now”

  • How do factories come to life in a digital environment? Together with T-Systems International we're collaborating to integrate the groundbreaking NVIDIA Omniverse platform into the world of digital production. This way, we're shaping the future of digital twins and the Industrial Metaverse.     The combination of NVIDIA’s cutting-edge technology, T-Systems’ innovative solutions, and our expertise in integrated factory planning will allow us to bring digital-first factories to life.     Here’s what this means for the future of manufacturing:     🌍 Digital-first designs reduce CO2 emissions and materials waste during both construction and operation.   ⚙️ Systems, processes, and partners collaborate seamlessly on a unified platform, cutting costs and optimizing efficiency.   🕒 Real-time simulations help prevent disruptions by identifying conflicts virtually, before construction or implementation begins.     From process concepts to successful commissioning, our experts manage every stage of the factory lifecycle.

Through this project, we are conducting a SWOT analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the use of urban outdoor spaces. Additionally, we are gaining valuable insights into how we can promote common purposes and engagement among our workshop participants. Together, we are creating the sustainable and inclusive urban environments of the future!
