    Why SaaS companies should invite more of their signups and users to 1:1 demos: >10-15% is what a GREAT free-to-paid conversion rate (human-assisted) looks like. A good one is 5-7% 🥹 We are talking about products like HubSpot, GitLab, etc: - A free plan is available. - People start using it on their own. - But a rep needs to be involved in giving a full demo and signing new customers. Translation: Real $$$ are made with humans in the loop. But here's where things get interesting: - Freemium: a great conversion rate is 10-15% - Free trial: a great conversion rate is 15-25% 🤯 The difference can be explained by the amount of sales-assist these companies do: - Freemium: ~25% of companies have reps engaging with more than half of sign-ups. - Free trial: ~50% of companies have reps engaging with more than half of sign-ups. Yes, pricing models and ACVs differ, however: A helping hand plays a HUGE role in getting free sign-ups to paying customers. And data proves it.
