Reselo completes successful piloting trial We are proud to share that we could demonstrate the feasibility of our in-house developed birch bark biorefinery process earlier this year, marking a major milestone on our scale-up journey! For us the collected data as well as generated process samples are instrumental for our on-going industrialisation activities ⚗ While managing this project was not always easy, our CTO Thomas Baumgarten highlights: “In this project we involved several partners from academia and industry across Europe and I was impressed by the collaborative spirit throughout the project.” We are particularly grateful to collaborate with VTT carrying out the chemical part of biorefinery process. Their experience, available infrastructure and flexibility to accommodate our needs are highly appreciated. Heimo Kanerva leading the project at VTTs side adds: “Being able to help Reselo in the early phase piloting was delightful. I’m happy that we were able to produce them the much-needed materials for further testing along with process data for further scale-up. This collaboration deepened our understanding in bark processing and gave ideas about how to tackle bottlenecks in our general-purpose pilot regarding biomaterials”.   Finally, this progress would not have been possible without funding from the EU through our EIC Accelerator Grant which we are immensely grateful for. #EUeic #eicAccelerator #biorefinery

Reselo closes shop in Flemingsberg... ...and moves into their new facility at Greenhouse Lab! Just over 14 months ago we were excited to set up shop at the A Working Lab facilities in Flemingsberg to established our first own lab which formed the basis for our fast progressing product and process development. At Flemingsberg, we enjoyed the company of great other start and scale-ups like Truly Labs and Circio Holding ASA but most of all a big THANK YOU goes to our fantastic site manager Satya Silcock for accommodating our needs and facilitating smooth operations. We also much appreciated the efforts to be integrated with the AWL community at Solna campus Armando Cázares-Körner and Linus Mannerfors 🙌 But now its is time for us to move on. We have recently relocated to Greenhouse Labs, KTH were we will continue to implement our renewable Reselo Rubber into customers products helping them to reach their sustainability targets 🌳 Greenhouse Labs has a history of being the hub for science and technology start-ups and today it hosts some of the most promising companies which are working hard on solving major challenges within their industries, like Enerpoly and Cellfion We are looking very much forward to connect to the vibrant community which awaits us here, catch up with old friends and make new connections 🤝

Reselo wins Swedish Tech Innovator Award! Yesterday, our CEO and co-founder Henrik Otendal took the stage to present Reselo at the Swedish final of the KPMG Tech Innovator competition and he managed convinced the esteemed jury to select Reselo for this prestigious award! 🎉 “It was a big surprise to be selected among such an amazing group of finalists!” says Henrik and adds “And it is great to see that with the 2023 winner PlasticFri® and this years other finalists Blue Ocean Closures, new materials are starting to get the attention they deserve. Without such innovations phasing out fossil resources would be impossible.” Reselo will now represent Sweden in the global finals of this competition, which will take place in Lisbon later this year. Besides raising awareness, this award also increases our credibility and grants us access to the experience of KPMG mentors and advisers who can provide valuable navigate the challenges of scaling up your tech.
