  • How does one juggle career aspirations and personal growth? Our Senior Data & Analytics Health Specialist Eva Baker did just that, taking advantage of National University of Singapore's Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics programme to augment her capabilities at Amplify Health, where she oversees analytics and data pipelines for our payer claims management solutions as well as our chronic disease management app, Amped. Eva's learning journey has been part of a greater exploration, moving halfway around the world (with family in tow) to build a life in Singapore while contributing to the healthcare sector. Her desire for self-improvement has taken her confidence and technical skills to the next level, enabling her to make further impact to her work. Today she has become a stronger problem-solver, taking her classroom learnings into real-world data and business dynamics. • With breakthroughs in precision medicine, predictive analytics, chronic disease management and more, are there innovative financial models that can support these advancements while maintaining sustainability and accessibility? To answer that, Amplify Health's Commercial Strategy & Business Development Lead Ana Kollcaku was invited to moderate the panel "Future-Proofing Healthcare: Financing Innovation and Access in 2024" at the recent Plug and Play APAC Summit. Joining Ana were panelists Theresa Lin, Executive Vice President at Cathay Financial Holdings, and Nadezda Koroban, Innovation Lead, Strategy & Innovation Chapter at Roche. Together they debated on how healthcare innovation is an absolute necessity to stay competitive and relevant in the market. Targeted patient engagement via enhanced predictive analytics is the way forward to delivering lasting health outcomes and changed behaviours. In this context, swift stakeholder mobilisation is critical in backing new initiatives, as well as testing and proof-point building via partnerships with nimble players. A better future doesn't happen overnight and requires consistent effort. Amplify Health is honoured to contribute and share our expertise among healthcare partners. #AmplifyHealth #plugandplayapac #Healthcare #HealthcareFinancing

  • Employee health and wellbeing is a top concern for any company. However, today's Human Resources world view is surrounded by tackling rising medical inflation, the expectation for comprehensive health benefits and programmes, and a gap in data to leverage AI capabilities for better health management. Our Head of Business Development & Growth Heena Sethi was in Kuala Lumpur for the C-Suite Roundtable: Elevating HR's Capabilities Through Disruptive Technology, sharing how HRs can design relevant benefits and health & wellness programmes using data-driven insights. Backed by Amplify Health's data trove and expert analytics, Heena presented our extensive capabilities to enable predictive insights on employee population health risks, and to optimise benefit designs for employees ensuring "affordable access.” This will provide a shift from designing future programmes based purely on “retrospective claims insights” to utilising predictive insights powered by AI and machine learning. It will also be key to ensuring sustainable financial models for both the insurers and corporates going forward. It was a pleasure to be a part of this in-depth discussion, gathering ideas and wisdom from leaders Azran Osman-Rani, Ahmad Bukhari Mohd Yunus, Angelin Low and Rashidin Omar, among others, and understanding how they are tackling their own challenges in corporate insurance. We look forward to see how our learnings can be applied across different companies, as we strive toward a healthier workplace. #AmplifyHealth #HR #CorporateSolutions #AIAMY #HumanResourcesOnline

  • Last week, Amplify Health brought like-minded health tech advocates together for a deep and honest conversation amid a casual lunch setting. Our latest Health Tech Roundtable was a hearty exchange among industry entrepreneurs working towards a common goal - building a more sustainable, effective, and efficient healthcare ecosystem. From debating the rising costs of healthcare and the inherent payer vs. provider tensions, to unlocking data siloes and enabling more seamless, interconnected healthcare journeys, no topic was left unturned. A big thank you to Jeremy Lim, Ian Lee, Shravan Verma, Jeremy Ting, Arsen Batagov, Bruno Occhipinti, Adrit Raha, Christina Teo and Peiru Teo for taking time off from their busy schedules to join Amplify Health's CEO Axel Baur, Chief Data & Analytics Officer David Frankenfield and Head of Corporate Development & M&A Anirudh Wable. Everyone brought a unique perspective and valuable insights. Each one of us is committed to improving different sections of the healthcare value chain, and this roundtable allowed us all to benefit from each other’s learnings and experience, not to mention forming new connections. We're already looking forward to the next one to hear about the latest wins, big and small. #AmplifyHealth #OnwardsUpwards #HealthTech #InsurTech
