This week we're discussing: 1) DigitalBridge agreeing a deal to acquire Yondr Group 2) GDS International announcing they've succesfully raised an additional US$1billion for continued expansion around the region. 3) Bridge Data Centres partner with Mah Sing Group Berhad as they look to expand their already significant footprint in Malaysia. 4) Keppel announced their plans to double their existing footprint from 650MW to 1,200MW across markets in APAC & EMEA. 5) Global Switch potentially looking to sell a stake in their London operations to fund future developments in APAC. 6) CDC break ground on their 504MW Blacktown campus in Sydney. 7) RackBank® announce the first phase of their 80MW Indore campus is on track to be ready this quarter. 8) Vietnam's Saigontel announce plans to develop a new data centre in Ho Chi Minh City. 9) Equinix are entering the Thailand market with a US$500million investment into facilities in Bangkok. Nevertheless, a couple of interesting stories for Rhys Morgan and I to discuss: 1) Digital Edge DC opening the first 36MW of their SEL2 project in Seoul. 2) GDS Holdings Ltd. acquiring a plot of land in Singapore's West from CapitaLand to develop a new facility - their first in Singapore. 3) Edgnex Data Centers by DAMAC announce they are going to invest $1billion in the Thailand data centre market as part of their JV with PROEN. 4) SUNeVision Holdings Ltd. confirm there was no explosion at the MEGA II facility. 5) Viettel Group have ambitious plans to open 560MW of capacity by 2030 in Vietnam.
