Dr. Jean Nei of GP Energy Tech, Hong Kong, and Prof. Volodymyr A. Yartys from the Institute for Energy Technology, Kjeller, Norway, delivered a compelling presentation that captivated the audience. Their presentation explored the expanding applications of NiMH batteries, demonstrating their versatility and importance in various sectors: ⚡Telematics (e.g., e-Call, anti-theft alarms) ⚡Home automation (e.g., e-Shutter) ⚡Renewable energy storage (e.g., solar-powered street lights) ⚡On-grid/off-grid stationary energy storage (e.g., telecom base stations) ⚡Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) ⚡Sensors/monitors for utility line or traffic control systems In addition, Dr. Nei and Prof. Yartys delved into advancements in MH alloys for subzero applications.
