We're delighted to announce Gizem Acar from International SOS as a speaker at our Travel Risk Management Masterclass in London on 18th September.   Gizem oversees global standards and drives best practices to ensure excellence in applied security risk management and advisory, incident management, and crisis response services delivery across a global platform. In her career, Gizem has been deployed to challenging locations such as South Sudan and south-east Turkey, where she served as the Incident Management Team (IMT) leader in the aftermath of a devastating earthquake in February 2023, coordinating evacuation operations and information collection. Gizem holds degrees in Political Science, International Relations, and Economics, along with numerous security trainings, risk management and crisis management qualifications. Bringing our kids to work at our Trevose office in Philadelphia, US was an absolute blast! We were thrilled to host 59 children, aged 5 to 19, for a fun-filled day of learning and creativity as they experienced a day in their parents' professional shoes. The day kicked off with a building tour and a visit to our Assistance Centre, followed by a delicious lunch and a wide range of engaging activities. From geography challenges and a dress-up corner to flag building, bag creation, sand art, and iSpy games, there was something for everyone! We also introduced the kids to our company’s mission, helping them understand what we do and why it matters. 🌍 To top it all off, the kids coloured ‘Thank You’ postcards, filled them with candy, and hand-delivered them to our amazing Assistance Centre staff. This heartfelt gesture truly showcased the appreciation we feel for our team's hard work. The event was a huge success, filled with smiles, laughter, and a sense of community.
