Build for Good Accelerator: Developing, piloting and launching solutions for public good in 8 weeks 🚀 Going beyond the Build for Good hackathon, last Saturday marks the start of the accelerator programme, equipping teams with essential skills and knowledge for the next stage of their journey for public good. Throughout the programme, teams will refine their solutions, conduct pilots, and prepare to launch their solutions to benefit real users. We had founders and speakers from the start-up, social enterprise, and ground-up sectors to share their founding experiences and highlight various sustainable pathways for the teams to consider. Our Lead Product Manager, Adan Vielma, conducted a workshop on scaling solutions from 0 to 1 to 100. Teams also met their mentors, who are experts and founders from the tech and social impact sectors. Throughout the rest of the programme, we’ll be hosting more workshops, consultations, and sharing sessions, guiding and inspiring our teams as they run their pilots and launches. We’re eager to update the progress and impact our teams will make in the coming weeks! *Thank you mentors — Thisum Buddhika, Luo Ren, Kang Liang Koh, Katrina Too, Lucian Teo and speakers — Gillian Tee, CEO and co-founder of Homage; Sharmili Roy, CTO and co-founder of Zoala; and Michele Wooi, Assistant Director of National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC), for sharing their valuable insights and advice with our teams.
