OBS is proud to share that we were conferred the Gold level of competence in the National Workplace Learning Certification!    This award is conferred to organisations that have demonstrated exemplary performance in supporting the learning and development of their people. When OBS first applied for this certification last year, we did it with the main aim to take stock of our learning and development efforts and find ways we could do better. We are extremely grateful and humbled by this recognition!    “In our findings and assessment, OBS was found to have established a pervasive, robust and well-supported workplace learning culture that can help turn employees into self-driven learners at work and provide them the building blocks to learn, grow and develop through continuous changes in the workplace landscape.” -National Centre of Excellence for Workplace Learning (NACE)   We thank NACE Led by NYP, for guiding us in the process and working with us to strengthen Workplace Learning in OBS! We thank our NYC HR team National Youth Council Singapore, OBS Management team and Learning & Sector Development team (Nicholas Conceicao,Thian Choon Ng, Edvan Loh, Bibiana Koh, Mohammad Ridzuwan Ya'akop, Abdul Haireel, Chiew ling Ong, Vivian Lau) for making this award possible. Last but definitely not least, we thank everyone in OBS who has taken ownership in their development, worked hard to deepen their knowledge and skills, and contributed to our wonderful learning culture! In OBS, our people are truly our greatest asset and resource, and this award affirms our purpose and efforts in growing our people. To serve, to strive and not to yield!

At 15, Arsyad’s heart found its beat in the great outdoors.🌟 With a clear vision in making outdoor adventure education his career, he embarked on a journey to pursue a Diploma in Outdoor and Adventure Learning, and take on OBS’ 21-Day Leadership and Service Award Programme. Now, Arsyad is right where he wanted to be when the seed of his dream was first planted 12 years ago. Follow Arsyad’s story and witness how his determination was fuelled by passion and purpose! 💯
