At Peppermint, Farm-to-Table is a core part of the restaurant's mission. This award certifies that at least 15% of Peppermint's produce are locally sourced – herbs, fruits, vegetables from the hotel's Urban Farm as well as farm-fresh eggs and assorted mushrooms from our local partners. Last week, we successfully launched our Tantalising Thai buffet at Peppermint for our media friends, in a collaboration between Peppermint’s Chef de Cuisine Leon Yee and visiting Chef Bas, winner of Top Chef Thailand Season 3. For the first time, Peppermint is collaborating with the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Bangkok Airways for Tantalising Thai – where diners will have a chance to win a flight for two to Koh Samui. We were honoured to welcome Her Excellency Mrs Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore and her team to grace the event. The media preview kicked off with a graceful traditional Thai dance performance by the Thai Dance Society, followed by a welcome address from our General Manager, Phil, Her Excellency Ureerat Chareontoh and the chefs.
