Here are some of the main points: Pitfall 1: Inaccurate Training Content and Focus Solution: Leveraging accurate and reliable risk assessment data is essential. By enhancing data-driven insights, we can better define and target training on what truly matters. The future is all about making data-informed decisions to optimize “what to train.” Pitfall 2: Ineffective Training Methods Solution: Not all training and not all #VR-based training is created equal. Training effectiveness relies on a high degree of realism and precise feedback. The more immersive and accurate the experience in VR, the greater the impact on real-world application in the aseptic environment. Pitfall 3: Misalignment between Training, SOPs, and QA Oversight Solution: Consistency is key. When training, SOPs, and oversight are aligned, we significantly enhance training effectiveness and transferability, setting operators up for success. It was an inspiring day of learning and sharing insights with industry experts on the future of biopharmaceutical training. Day 1 of the conference wrapped up with an insightful session on practical Contamination ContrOl Strategy implementation by Wendy Tan, followed by application of rapid bacterial endotoxin test as a biofilm detection strategy. A balanced case study highlighting the benefits and challenges of RMM adoption for environmental monitoring was presented by Seulgi and Sunhye. The day ended with a lively panel discussion, fostering engaging conversations on different perspectives by an ex regulator, technology solution provider and a Biopharma end user on annex 1 compliance and the use of innovative rapid methods.
