Accelerating Action Together: A Powerful International Women's Day Event And that’s a wrap! We, in collaboration with KeyNote - Women Speakers Directory and Expat Living Singapore hosted an unforgettable International Women’s Day event: Speak to Inspire – Accelerating Action Together. The energy in the room was electric as our powerhouse speakers captivated, inspired, and empowered all of us. With insightful talks, practical takeaways, and engaging discussions, we collectively explored what it truly means to accelerate action as women, professionals, and leaders. Lessons Learned: Be kind to yourself. It’s okay to have a bad day or to experience fear —acknowledge it and move forward. Own your story. Be proud of who you are and celebrate your successes. Presence and confidence can be cultivated—empower yourself with the right mindset and techniques. Our Incredible Speakers: Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Nadine Nached, our Master of Ceremonies, who kept the energy high and ensured a seamless flow throughout the event. Karolina Gwinner left us with a powerful message: Courage is rather the judgement that something else is more important than one's fear. Archana Amlapure reminded us of the transformative impact of self-love and compassion in unlocking our full potential. Valerie Chow inspired us to own our voice, navigate career pivots, and step into our personal power. Lakshmi Ramachandran, PhD, PCC showed us that the power to lead is within each of us. Serene Seng explored the future of work and the role women play in driving transformation. Sonali Bhattacharya 🇸🇬 challenged us to rethink negotiation—not just as a skill, but as an inner game of confidence and strategy. And last but certainly not the least Theodora Maria Voutsa demonstrated how acting techniques can empower women to harness the power of presence: "This is me and here I am!" Thank you to everyone who attended and made this day so impactful. Let’s continue to lift each other up, take bold steps, and accelerate action—together! #IWD2025 #AcceleratingAction #WomenEmpowerment #Leadership #PrimeTime

Thank you Serene Seng, this is such an important message for women leaders everywhere! Taking action doesn’t mean pushing yourself to the brink—it means balancing self-care, connection, and growth so we can lead sustainably and effectively. We’re excited to hear more on "How to Lean In Without Burning Out" at our #IWD event on Thursday, 13th March! Let’s #AccelerateAction while making sure we support ourselves along the way. Who else is ready to lean in the right way? Hope to see you next week: https://lnkd.in/gNEMRBu7 #WomenLeaders #SelfCare #BurnoutPrevention #WomenLeadership #IWD2025
Keynote Speaker and Executive Coach | Helping senior leaders find passion and meaning at work while maximising performance and strengths | Neurodiversity and gender equality advocate
As a senior woman leader, you want to lean in - to be there for your team, support your boss, and be a role model for other aspiring women leaders. But you have tough KPIs, caregiver duties, and responsibilities to your community. How do you lean in without burning out? As part of #IWD2025, women around the world are being encouraged to #AccelerateAction. It's all well and good, but many successful women are already stretched. For you to do more, you would need to first step back. You need to take care of yourself, reconnect with your tribe, and focus on your growth. 1️⃣ Self care Sleep, food, exercise, stress - it feel like I am forever preaching these four pillars of health. For most women leaders, I find that sleep is the first thing that goes when stress goes up. Either long hours reducing sleep time or anxiety increasing insomnia. So prioritise sleep. Create a sleep routine and practice mindfulness before sleep. Check if journaling before bed helps you. Some find it useful to put their thoughts down on paper so they no longer need to think of them at night. 2️⃣ Reconnect Who are the people in your life that bring you joy? Energy? Love? How often do you connect with them? We're drawn upon every day (yes, even on weekends) so make it a point to replenish your bucket on a daily basis. 3️⃣ Personal growth As a senior woman leader, it's easy to be bogged down by the sheer amount of information you need to take in simply to keep up at work. Perhaps you're also learning for your job in many ways. But personally, how do you want to grow? What are the areas that your soul can expand into? Growth can be learning of course, but it can also be contribution, or even doing something you always wanted to but had never had the courage to do. Saying no to toxic 'friends' anyone? If you'd like to learn more tips, I'll be speaking on this topic "How to Lean In Without Burning Out" this coming Thursday at PrimeTime Business and Professional Women's Association's #IWD event, Accelerate Action Together. Come join me! #womenleader #womenleaders #womenleadership #burnout #selfcare
