Have S-REITs finally hit a turning point with the Fed cutting rates? Ritesh Ganeriwal, our Managing Director and Head of Investment & Advisory at Syfe, recently shared his insights on the market developments for S-REITs with SGX Group, and there’s plenty to get excited about! 📈 Here are some key takeaways: ✅ As of September 24, the iEdge S-REIT Leaders Index surged over 16% in Q3, and our Syfe REIT+ portfolio, featuring 20 top S-REITs, gained 17.0%. ✅ With the Fed reducing interest rates by 50 bps to 4.75%-5% and further cuts projected, financing costs for S-REITs are expected to drop, boosting earnings and fueling potential acquisitions. ✅ S-REITs’ current distribution yield of around 6% outshines the 2.5% yield on 10-year Singapore government bonds. This attractive yield spread could continue to pull in more institutional and retail investors.
