Last week marked the exciting launch of the Fruit PillBox, a new packaging innovation by Zespri International. We're thrilled about this work, as part of our ongoing mission to foster remarkable marketing and creativity with Zespri. Research indicates that the primary reason people skip fruits is simply because they forget. Drawing inspiration from Nudge theory, this new simple, low tech, intuitive pack like a pillbox, with days of the week marked, reminds people to eat their Kiwi Fruit daily. For us at The Shed 28, this pack (biodegradable material, vegetable ink, and inclusive) is a great example of a simple meaningful initiative, that contributes positively to people, planet and prosperity. #sustainability #sustainablemarketing #innovation #packaging #packaginginnovation Rupen Desai Ranjit Jathanna Srija Chatterjee Jiunn Shih Kok Hwee Ng Nikos Patiniotakis Himanshu Arora Speakeasy — Knowledge Brokers Stickybeak Peppercomm Tarun Deo Marcello Magalhaes Marcus Kawamura Mint Mena Joseph Makhoul Dolly Saidy Shahbaz Zobairi https://lnkd.in/dFXCjsaj
About us
The Shed 28 (TS/28) is a purposeful growth company building businesses our conscience can live with. Businesses can no longer afford to be caught between an ‘extractive growth’ and a ‘do less harm, as we grow’ language of sustainability. It is time to challenge businesses to leave a positive handprint on the world, not just minimize their footprint. We believe business where prosperity comes at the cost of people and the planet, needs systemic change. Our aim is to build brands that grow at the interdependence between people, planet, and prosperity. We are driven by a regenerative mindset to impact a new way to create value – through ‘the how’ and ‘the what’ a business does, not just ‘the why’. We use the power of marketing, creativity and innovation to help unlock new value models that benefit multi stakeholders and scale impact at all levels - from purposeful innovations to changing culture and mindsets, creating the partner ecosystem, evaluating how success gets measured, and how the brand and the company communicate and live their purpose through their actions. After all, Purposeful is what Purposeful does.

With a market size of about 25% of all frozen potato products, it becomes incumbent of McCain Foods to lead the charge on sustainable farming. Using their Regenerative Agriculture Framework, a farmer-centric ecosystem-based approach that aims to lift farm resilience, crop yield and quality by improving soil health and water quality, optimising water use, enhancing biodiversity, and reducing the impact of synthetic inputs, they are able to drive systemic change and accelerate their sustainability journey. The importance of food extends far beyond mere sustenance; it plays a crucial role in various aspects of human life. Recognizing the multifaceted importance of food underscores the need for sustainable and responsible practices in its production, distribution, and consumption to ensure a healthy and prosperous future for individuals and the planet. A recent study found that a shift towards a more sustainable global food system could create up to $10tn (£7.9tn) of benefits a year, improve human health and ease the climate crisis. This is indeed great news as both people and the planet will benefit. A swift and seamless adoption of this across countries and companies is critical. #foodsystem #sustainability #prosperityforall #systemicchange Ranjit Jathanna Rupen Desai Srija Chatterjee Jiunn Shih Monica Mireles Serrano Carla Nina Bryan Parkes Kok Hwee Ng Nikos Patiniotakis https://lnkd.in/eEW-vW_G

Pandora, the world's largest jeweller by amount of products sold, has stopped using mined silver and gold and now only manufactures with recycled precious metals, which require less energy to produce. When large corporations like Pandora courageously spearhead the path towards a sustainable and regenerative future, it provides immense inspiration for others to emulate. We need a food system that is economically, socially and environmentally sustainable. Any disruption in this balance risks a broken system that can harm both people and planet. While we can condemn such actions, we need systemic change where all stakeholders collaborate to create a comprehensive food system that delivers food security and nutrition for all, while ensuring that it is economically viable for the farmers. For the system to thrive, it is essential that all parties benefit, fostering prosperity for all. #foodsystem #sustainability #prosperityforall #systemicchange Rupen Desai Ranjit Jathanna Srija Chatterjee Jiunn Shih Carla Nina Monica Mireles Serrano Bryan Parkes Kok Hwee Ng Eu Jin Cheah https://lnkd.in/dJaB934J
