🚀 The first event I attended in Luxembourg was the ALFI - Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry Global Asset Management Conference earlier this year, as part of the The LHoFT - Luxembourg House of Financial Technology Catapult Fintech360. This is where I came across Ernst & Young invaluable "Investment Funds in Luxembourg" publication 📕, a reference in the industry. Fast forward to last week, I had the pleasure of participating in the official release of the 2️⃣ 0️⃣ 2️⃣ 4️⃣ publication. It is the 31st edition of this guide !! This event 🎤 🍸 was another opportunity to immerse myself in the vibrant ecosystem of the Luxembourg 🇱🇺 funds industry. A big thank you to EY for the invitation and for creating such a dynamic space for funds professionals to connect and collaborate. Soon the end of my second week in Luxembourg 🇱🇺 and I am still as energised 🚀 as I was at the start! It has been a real opportunity to meet with partners, clients and prospects as we continue to expand U-Reg’s presence in Europe 🇪🇺. Being able to work from the The LHoFT - Luxembourg House of Financial Technology has been exceptionally practical and I couldn’t resist taking another picture with the iconic “red man” 🔴 in the LHoFT lobby! Lastly, two fun facts: 👉 I am amazed by how international Luxembourg is. I encountered people from all over the world 🌍 in business meetings, and it is fascinating to hear so many different languages spoken throughout the city. 👉 The free public transportation 🚃 is impressively efficient! Being able to hop on and off between meetings is not only convenient but also an eco-friendly way to get around. 🚋🌿

The Schueberfouer is a 700-year-old tradition, and strolling through one of Luxembourg’s 🇱🇺 most iconic events felt like the perfect way to unwind after a busy day of meetings 🗓 . As Luxembourg’s largest and oldest annual fair, the Schueberfouer dates back to 1340 when it was founded by John the Blind 👑 as a traditional market . Now in its 682nd edition, it has transformed into a lively celebration, blending modern rides and attractions with the charm of old traditions. In addition to the exciting carnival rides, the fair features traditional food 🌭 and drink stands 🍺 that preserve its cultural roots, offering a true taste of Luxembourg’s heritage. 🚀 U-Reg Team Bonding Alert ! 🚀 We took a break from our daily tasks and computer screens for some adrenaline-pumping excitement! 🔫 Celebrating some of our recent achievements was overdue. With our Malaysian-based 🇲🇾 engineering team visiting us in Singapore 🇸🇬 this week, it was the perfect time to celebrate, strengthen bonds and create lasting memories. 🌟 With a goal to balance dedication with fun the team opted for an internal paintball competition 🎉 . We had a blast, with team spirit and competitive energy running high. Each team strategised 🤔 and collaborated to better the other. It was great to see the same passion and drive that fuel our business projects come alive on the field. The camaraderie and friendly rivalry reinforced the strong bonds that make U-Reg such a dynamic and cohesive team.
