About The Role (Maternity Support – 1 Year Contract)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our team in Singapore. You will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations, reporting to the Director, Finance Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records of trial balance.
  • Manage the month end and year end close activities (experience in TravCom and HFM knowledge is preferred).
  • Work with shared services team to review month end close, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and invoicing on client settlement.
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of GST returns and ensure compliance with all GST regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare the monthly sales and volume reports by clients.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly client settlements for key customers.
  • Work with shared services team in the preparation of manual billing for intercompany transactions and key customers.
  • Provide monthly or quarterly transaction counts for clients and partners.
  • Support statutory audit and work with auditors to complete the audit.
  • Perform cost allocation calculation for operating expenses and key clients.
  • Support adhoc tasks or projects.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore tax regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Strong attention to detail, meticulous with a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience of working in a multinational environment.
