The Effie Awards Singapore 2024 recognises brands and agencies that continuously find new ways to connect with their audiences and drive results, awarding campaigns that achieve their goals and impact the industry or community beyond their set targets.
Several of our collaborative creative campaigns won in different categories, including Gold for our "The Super Safety Briefing" campaign. These accolades do not only show that our efforts resonate with our customers or the broader industry, but also signify our campaigns’ proven effectiveness in closing protection gaps that can impact lives significantly.
For instance, our “World’s Safest Athlete” turned up fully clad in an ultra-safe suit at events where fitness enthusiasts went, like The Singapore Sports Association’s InterClub Races and The Standard Chartered Marathon, to raise awareness for the need for Personal Accident (PA) protection. This allowed us to reach and protect 22% more customers with our PA Fitness Protect plan as compared to 2022.
Our "Fallin' Apart" campaign also drove a spike in protection insurance, as the campaign set out to influence audiences, especially the sandwich generation, to recognise and close their protection gap. Through the soundtrack "Fallin' Apart" produced in collaboration with The Calling, pop icon from the 2000s, we used music as a strategic medium to be more relatable for our audiences and tackle the difficult topic of insurance inadequacy. The campaign successfully resonated with our customers, achieving a 64% increase in customers shielded by our protection plans.
