We are thrilled to share that we have won the prestigious "Marketer of the Year" award at the Effie Awards Singapore 2024! 🏆 Congratulations to our agency, BBH Asia Pacific (Singapore) as well for winning the "Agency of the Year" title! 🥳   The Effie Awards Singapore 2024 recognises brands and agencies that continuously find new ways to connect with their audiences and drive results, awarding campaigns that achieve their goals and impact the industry or community beyond their set targets.   Several of our collaborative creative campaigns won in different categories, including Gold for our "The Super Safety Briefing" campaign. These accolades do not only show that our efforts resonate with our customers or the broader industry, but also signify our campaigns’ proven effectiveness in closing protection gaps that can impact lives significantly.   For instance, our “World’s Safest Athlete” turned up fully clad in an ultra-safe suit at events where fitness enthusiasts went, like The Singapore Sports Association’s InterClub Races and The Standard Chartered Marathon, to raise awareness for the need for Personal Accident (PA) protection. This allowed us to reach and protect 22% more customers with our PA Fitness Protect plan as compared to 2022.   Our "Fallin' Apart" campaign also drove a spike in protection insurance, as the campaign set out to influence audiences, especially the sandwich generation, to recognise and close their protection gap. Through the soundtrack "Fallin' Apart" produced in collaboration with The Calling, pop icon from the 2000s, we used music as a strategic medium to be more relatable for our audiences and tackle the difficult topic of insurance inadequacy. The campaign successfully resonated with our customers, achieving a 64% increase in customers shielded by our protection plans.   Congratulations to all winners! I had a fantastic time at the Effie Learning Festival Singapore 2024 organised by the Association of Advertising & Marketing Singapore (AAMS) last week. Not only did I get to share how GOMO innovated with our customers at heart to create Singapore's first-ever Bank for unused data, but we also had the opportunity to learn from some of the best cases presented by fellow marketers. It was wonderful that most of our team could attend the festival and took away a wealth of knowledge. Singtel also had a big night, winning 2 Golds, 2 Silvers, and a Bronze for marketing effectiveness for our work on the GOMO Databank, GOMO TikTok, and Singtel Broadband "Wifi vs Wifey/Broadband or Your Man" campaigns. This success was only possible through the amazing teamwork, collaboration, and dedication of our team at Singtel and our wonderful partners Hogarth APAC, Leo Burnett, Publicis Groupe Singapore, Publicis Chemistry, and OMD Worldwide. LASALLE College of the Arts’ student recruitment campaign ‘Make it all happen at LASALLE’ won a bronze award in the Education & Training category at the Effie Awards Singapore 2024. This recognition for marketing effectiveness was well-won, especially as we were up against 66 finalists from across the field of industry giants. At the Effie Learning Festival earlier in the day, LASALLE was also one of 12 select brands invited to present our campaign to a room of over 600 industry professionals. The marketing visuals and video for the campaign were made possible thanks to a stellar cast of students and alumni, who contributed their voices, performances and creative works to form the backbone to our love letter to the arts. What a rewarding month this is turning out to be. Leo Burnett India walked away with 2 Golds & 2 Silvers for our work on Flipkart and LAYS at the APAC Effie Awards held in Singapore.
