New types of filaments for 3D print of bonded NdFeb magnets added to portfolio In the company Magneti Ljubljana, d.d. we have expanded the offer of filaments for 3D printing of plastomagnets. Along with the basic type of filament (3DMAG – HC) launched in 2022, we started to commercially market two new types of filaments. The 3DMAG – HB filament is characterized by a higher remanence and energy product, while the 3DMAG – HF filament is designed on the basis of atomized magnetic powders, which, due to their spherical shape, enable easier 3D printing and less wear on the tips of the 3D printer. All types of filaments enable 3D printing of plastomagnets of complex shapes with magnetic properties comparable to those of injection-molded plastomagnets. All types of filaments are marketed under the common trademark 3DMAG, protected by the Intellectual Property Office of the Republic of Slovenia (No. 20237100). R&D project was financed by Ministry of the Economy, Turism and Sport within call »Spodbude za raziskovalno razvojne projekte 2« [Št. 631-49/2020/1]. Link: https://lnkd.in/eKYxWmyw

Razširjena ponudba novih tipov filamentov za 3D tisk plastomagnetov V podjetju Magneti LJ, d.d. smo razširili ponudbo filamentov za 3D tisk plastomagnetov. Ob osnovnem tipu filamenta (3DMAG – HC) lansiranem v letu 2022 smo začeli komercialno tržiti še dva nova tipa filamentov. Filament 3DMAG – HB odlikuje višja remanenca in energijski produkt, medtem ko je filament 3DMAG – HF zasnovan na osnovi atomiziranih magnetnih prahov, ki zaradi svoje sferične oblike omogočajo lažje 3D tiskanje in manjšo obrabo konic 3D tiskalnika. Vsi tipi filamentov omogočajo 3D tisk plastomagnetov kompleksnih oblik z magnetnimi lastnostmi, ki so primerljive z lastnostmi injekcijsko brizganih plastomagnetov. ➡ Albert Erman, Gregor Tegeltija, Matej Zaplotnik in ekipa so mu razkazali tovarno in predstavili evropske projekte, kjer sodelujejo s podjetji Bosch, Stelantis, GKN ... Our company, Magneti Ljubljana, d.d., received a visit from the European Commissioner for the Internal Market, Mr. Thierry Breton, accompanied by the State Secretary responsible for internationalization, entrepreneurship, development funds, and tourism, Mr. Matevž Frangež. We discussed the future of the EU internal market, future economic development, and security. We explained the significant role that permanent magnets play in various applications, such as personal vehicles, computers, and medical products. We emphasized the importance of developing a 'Western Supply of Permanent Magnets' to support magnet manufacturing in Europe. Magneti Ljubljana is one of the three remaining manufacturers of permanent magnets in the EU, specializing in the production of metallic and bonded magnets and magnetic systems since 1951. We have earned our status as a significant European supplier through our extensive experience and commitment to producing high-quality products. We offer a diverse portfolio of materials for various end-user industries, including the automotive industry, electric motors, high and low voltage products, railway, and other industries, both in Slovenia and across the EU. Additionally, we actively participate in research, technological development, and innovation projects at the EU and national levels, focusing on developing technologically advanced products and processes. Our vision is to become a significant manufacturer of NdFeB sintered metallic magnets for various industries and establish a fully 'Western Supply of Permanent Magnets.' We aim to achieve this goal in partnership with Phoenix Tailings, a company that has made sustainable manufacturing of Neodymium Rare Earth Metal a reality. #MagnetiLjubljana, #PhoenixTailings, #EuropeanManufacturerofPermanentMagnets, #WesternSupplyofPermanentMagnets, #supplychain, #manufacturing
