🚀 This past Sunday, two of our team members participated in the Ljubljana Marathon! 🚀 Exciting news from IAC2024! 🛰 📝 Yesterday, there was a contract signed in Milano, between European Space Agency - ESA and Deimos for the #Ciseres project, marking the official kick-off of the project. ✅ We are very happy, that #SkyLabs is also a partner in this project, as we will deliver the hardware for the mission. 🤩 ⏩ Ciseres, part of ESA Connectivity and Secure Communications (CSS) programme, is a small satellite mission designed to significantly improve crisis response times using artificial intelligence (AI). 🙌 Ciseres aims to alert first responders and government officials within minutes of natural disasters such as floods, fires, and landslides. 🚨 By integrating AI directly into satellite operations, the system can process and transmit crucial information faster than ever before. 📲 #SkyLabs will provide will provide the on-board computer and high-performance computing capabilities for the project. 🛰️🤗   #IAC2024 #ESA #AI #Space #SpaceIndustry #SpaceTechnology #Collaboration #Innovation

🛰️ Slovenia’s Pioneering Nanosatellite TRISAT Reaches its Mission End 🛰️ 🗣️At the beginning of past week, we proudly said goodbye to the TRISAT nanosatellite, which earned Slovenia the title of a "space nation" 🚀 and has forever marked Slovenian history as the first Slovenian nanosatellite fully designed, developed and assembled in the Republic of Slovenia. 🇸🇮 ➡️ According to calculations and models by members of the Laboratory for Electronic and Information Systems at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Maribor, the satellite burned up somewhere over Africa on the evening of Sunday, 29th of September 2024. 🌍🙂 Read more at: https://lnkd.in/d5wtCwfH Univerza v Mariboru #SkyLabs #TRISAT #SpaceTechnology #Nanosatellite #Innovation
