Updates

  • Recently, part of our team had the chance to attend the Central Eurasian Partners Annual Conference in Poland, which brings together a network of mission organizations working throughout Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Two major highlights of the weekend 👉 First was listening to worship in multiple languages: English, Russian, Ukrainian, and Polish. 👉The second was hearing stories about ministries happening in Ukraine and Belarus. It was incredibly humbling to hear stories of how these men and women are continuing to be faithful to God, their families, their community, and others around them, even as their world is in a catastrophic war. Thank you for organizing this precious get-together!

  • Last week we welcomed old and new friends from Wheaton, Illinois to Bratislava! During their stay, they got to meet local entrepreneurs and leaders and provide valuable feedback to Marek Markus on his research on missional enterprise ecosystems. We are also thankful for David van Dyke's contribution in the form of two workshops: Living Faithfully As Leaders In The Workplace and Parenting Skills In Anxious Times. @Theon Hill also preached for Sunday service at @Cirkev bratská v Bratislave. We are grateful for partners in this work all around the globe! @D3, @Theon Hill, @David Van Dyke, Kurt Tillman, Marek MarkusWheaton College

  • Friday, October 18th, Agathe Center for Entrepreneurship and @D3 Slovakia will host a Leadership Workshop with David Van Dyke. Link for registration: https://lnkd.in/eV6nJH2b Register before October 13th !! We will discuss: – Unique responsibilities of Christian leaders in organizations – Care for Self (since our employees, customers, and family listen to our lives more than our words) – Succession planning (Jesus only had three years of ministry, so he had an eye on continuing the ministry through his disciples. We will investigate how are we living this model for the continuing of our business and relationships beyond our short time in leadership) David will present an overview and brief content, followed by participant discussion and application in their context. We will also generate ideas together, sharing the best ideas with the group. Finally, we will conclude with a question-and-answer time. David Van Dyke is a professor and licensed marriage and family therapist, serving as director of the master's program in Marriage and Family Therapy at Wheaton College near Chicago, Illinois. He has been teaching and practicing for 25+ years. David was the recipient of a Fulbright scholarship in 2018 and worked in Hungary to train students in marriage and family therapy and a systems approach to education.
