It's been a year since I joined BHM, and what a year it has been! When our General Director, Jan Chaloupka, and I reflected on the past year, we were amazed at the speed of our progress. At times, it felt almost unbelievable, but the results, and our eye bags and wrinkles, speak for themselves. 😅 Here are some of the key achievements of our team: ✅ We evolved from a behind-the-scenes investor to a major force in the market, creating a strong brand. ✅ We completed the construction of the 3rd hall in Dunajska Streda (Slovakia) and successfully delivered it to our tenant UBC Composites. ✅ We fully leased the industrial park in Maribor (Slovenia). ✅ After 11,000 sq m became available in Dunajska Streda (Slovakia), we almost instantly found a new tenant, making the project fully leased again. ✅ We acquired, rebranded, and integrated the former Trencin Industrial Park (Slovakia), now known as BHM Park Trencin, adding 100,000 sq m to our portfolio. ✅ We attracted a new R&D centre to BHM Park Trencin. ✅ We built a robust pipeline across Central and Eastern Europe. ✅ We launched the 'BHM Parks' brand along with a new website and marketing strategy. ✅ We grew from a team of two in Slovakia, supported by our General Manager and Asset Manager in Prague, to a team of six after bringing Property Management and Construction Management in-house, which led to moving into new offices. While our team remains smaller than those of competitors with similar portfolios and pipelines, our commitment to quality continues to fuel our success. ✅ We recruited new team members in Serbia and soon will create teams for Croatia and Slovenia. ✅ We started construction of a 30k warehouse in Belgrade. ✅ We solidified relationships with existing clients, won new ones, and started talks with many prospects. And more big and wonderful news coming very soon… It feels good to see the impact of our hard work and to help build something successful. The next challenge will be sustaining this growth while maintaining our sanity and health, as well as preparing our team and processes for scaling. Exciting times are ahead!
