Mlaba continues. Shafali drives a full one through covers for a single. Shubha follows with a single to the legside. Four!! Mlaba gets Shafali’s outside edge but it flies past slip and to the fence for four. Down leg, Shafali looks to sweep it behind but misses. 

Shubha pads one outside off stump, that goes between the slips and seals the win for India.

Shubha punches a full one through cover for a single. A slight misfield but doesn’t prove costly. Four!! Mlaba goes full and wide, Shafali creams the drive through the gap between cover and mid off.

Tucker gets one to go past Shafali’s atempted drive. Managed to keep her feet inside the crease too despite going off balance. Six!! This time Shafali steps down and lofts one over long on for six!

Four!! Shafali looks to go big against Mlaba, just past the diving Sekhukhunya at mid off and the ball runs to the fence. Tucker concedes two singles off her over. 

Shubha Satheesh and Shafali Verma open for India. Shubha gets off the mark with a single. Four!! Shubha gets an outside edge off an over pitched delivery, goes in the gap between keeper and slip to the fence

Four!! De Klerk showing no signs of slowing down. Slogs a full one over mid wicket for a boundary. Six!! Over pitched again, slog swept over long on for six! 

WICKET!! Nicely tossed up by Gayakwad, De Klerk is early into her slog and sees her stumps dislodged.

Four!! De Klerk sweeps Gayakwad through square leg to bring up fifty! Has done brilliantly well to take this deep and help SA take a slender lead. She will hope to extend this further and try to eke out a draw. 

Dropped! Looked to go downtown, top edge flies towards mid on where Vastrakar makes a mess of it.

Deepti switches to round the wicket to De Klerk. Attacks the stumps. Four!! Over pitched on the stumps, swept through midwicket for a boundary. 

Shafali with her third over. WICKET!! The part time off-spinner breaks the frustrating stand! Spun in after pitching outside off, through the bat-pad gap to knock the stumps.

Four!! De Klerk’s slog sweep through the legside helps SA take the lead against India! India will hope to get the next two wickets quickly and wipe up the deficit.

Four!! Full on the pads, De Klerk gets down and sweeps through square leg. Klaas managing to keep one end at bay while de Klerk does the scoring from the other. 

Klaas manages to guide a full one through backward point to get off the mark and reduce the trail margin to a solitary run. Tea Day 4.

Vastrakar returns. WICKET!! Huge mix-up between the two batters after de Klerk dabs it to cover. A direct hit finds Sekhukhune way short.

SA trails by 13 runs. Jafta is back after retiring hurt earlier. 

Subha plucks one out at short leg and appeals. No movement from the umpire. India review! No spike on ultra edge and India loses all its reviews. 

DRINKS. Sneh Rana getting some help with stretches for her legs particularly calves. Jemimah getting help for her lower back. Draining heat here at the Chepauk. The South African batters are under an umbrella with wet towels on their neck.

Four!! A low full toss from Rana is easily swept away to the boundary by Sekhukhune. Gayakwad bowls a maiden to de Klerk. Rana follows up with one of her own. SA trails by 18 runs. 

Gayakwad replaces Vastrakar. Maiden over. Rana from the other end. Six balls to target the new batter Sekhukhune. Looks to defend a full one on the stumps, gets rapped on the gloves. Manages to wade through the over.

Vastrakar with her 20th over. De Klerk takes a single to cover off the last ball to keep strike. 

Rana back into the attack. Richa misses one down leg stump and the batters steal a bye. Sekhukhune keeps the last two balls out. 

Another one keeps low, takes the under edge of Dercksen’s bat and is stopped at slip. WICKET!! Low again. Dercksen trapped right in front. Easy decision.

Back after the lunch break. Sinola Jafta has retired hurt with a cramp. Dercksen enters in her place. A couple of byes from Deepti’s over. 

Vastrakar into the attack. Four!! Finds the outside edge first ball but it runs away through third man for four. Deepti appeals for lbw after the ball raps Dercksen on the pads, sliding down leg though. A yorker length ball just misses the stumps by a whisker. 

Harmanpreet goes short and wide, Jafta carves it through point but it doesn’t have the legs to go to the boundary. Lunch Day 4

Sneh Rana returns. Jafta punches a slightly shorter delivery from Rana through point for a couple. Gayakwad concedes just one of her over.

Gayakwad manages to get the edge of De Klerk, but falls short of the slip fielder. Deepti continues from the other end. Appeal for runout against Sinalo Jafta. Replays suggest she makes it in. 

Slightly short outside off, guided through backward point for a couple by Wolvaardt. Deepti appeals for lbw against de Klerk. Turned down and India opt against the review. Probab;y going down leg. 

WICKET!! Gayakwad brought into the attack. Traps Wolvaardt in front. Umpire gives it out but the skipper reviews. Pitched on leg and went straight on, beating the bat. Three reds and a huge wicket for India!

Chance for a runout after Wolvaardt drives to mid off. Makes it in time. The next delivery pops up off the bat but falls beyond the reach of short leg. Four!! Over pitched from Rana. driven straight back down the ground for a boundary. 

Kapp almost defends one back to her stumps against Deepti. Another maiden over. Rana continues to keep it tight from the other end. The length from the spinners has been excellent today. 

Deepti Sharma into the attack. Just a solitary run off the over. Both offies in tandem as Rana continues. Maiden over. 

Four!! Too full from Renuka, releases the pressure. Kapp drives through the covers for a boundary. Four!! Rana manages to find Kapp’s edge but it runs past short third and to the frence for four.

Four!! A touch short from Rana, Wovlaardt crouches and pulls it through the legside for a boundary. Renuka manages to find Kapp’s inside edge, runs away through fine leg for a couple.

Sneh Rana to start proceedings. Beats Wolvaardt’s outside edge on the first ball. Turn for Rana and it goes past the leg stump and runs away to the boundary for byes. 

Renuka from the other end. Full on the stumps, manages to get the outside edge that runs past the slips for a double. Hundred!! Wolvaardt rides a full one to the legside to bring up her maiden Test hundred! Wolvaardt becomes the first SA Women’s cricketer to score a century in all three formats of the game.
