Australia handed New Zealand a 60-run crushing loss in the Group A clash of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.
Australia displaced New Zealand from the top of Group A while New Zealand slipped to third behind Pakistan.
Earlier on Monday, England beat South Africa in the Group B clash of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium to sit on top of its group.
With its second win in as many matches, England sits on top of Group B with 4 points while West Indies and South Africa claim second and third place, respectively.
Earlier on Sunday, India beat Pakistan with six wickets in hand in Dubai to open its account in T20 World Cup.
With this result, India has moved to fourth place while Pakistan continues at the third spot. New Zealand and Australia continue to remain the top two sides in Group A.
