Closed Beta : Stage 1

Hi everyone!

We are proud to be able to announce that Magic Chess Online has reached an important milestone as today begins phase 1 of the Closed Beta!

This step consists of allowing any player wishing to participate in the development of Magic Chess Online to join the Closed Beta by obtaining a Legendary pack!
The latter can be purchased directly from the MCO website or earned thanks to waves of free keys.

The Epic, Uncommon and Common packs are also available for purchase from today but do not provide immediate access to Magic Chess Online (see roadmap below).

Here is a summary of the roadmap of the various stages of the Closed Beta:

Start of phase 1: Servers are only installed in Europe
January 2021: Tournament mode stress test
From the end of January: Several waves of free keys will be sent (on social networks, on Discord, among those registered on the website, Twitch, ...)
End of phase 1: Game stable, major bugs fixed, servers installed in the East and West of the world
Start of phase 2: Access open to players with an Epic pack
Phase 2: Several waves of free keys will be sent (on social networks, on Discord, among website registrants, Twitch, ...)
Start of phase 3: Access open to players with a Rare and Common pack, opening of Early Access on Steam (and on other platforms)
Phase 3: Several waves of free keys will be sent (on social networks, on Discord, among those registered on the website, Twitch, ...)
End of phase 3: Release of the "light" mobile version
Open Beta: Switching the game to Free to Play (F2P) on all platforms + Reset of all accounts (however the benefits obtained thanks to the packs will obviously be added to your accounts and the ELO reached during the Closed Beta will serve as a reference for your 10 first games if it is to your advantage)

To have a better chance of winning free keys, don't forget to follow us on all of our social networks, to register for free on the website and to join our discord!

We are happy to announce the official publication of our new website!
On the latter, you can learn more about the content of Magic Chess Online, consult the development roadmap, news, our affiliate program and many more ...

New website: Registration opens for the Closed Beta

It is also on the latter that you can now register for the Beta! Several keys will be sent throughout the Closed Beta phase.

The Closed Beta starts in December 2020!

Publication of the new trailer

The website isn't the only announcement as we've also just officially released our Closed Beta trailer, so don't hesitate to go check it out and share it: MCO trailer!

Discord: Join the community

We have also set up a discord to bring together the whole community but not only. The goal is also to have a way to easily communicate with the development team and to be able to organize the test sessions. It is on the latter that all the technical news will be communicated: discord of MCO[discord.gg] !

Where does Steam fit in all this?

An article has been written on the website about this, concerning the roadmap of the Closed Beta: here[fr.magicchessonline.com].
The Magic Chess Online game will be available on Steam in Early Access from phase 3 of the Closed Beta. It will then be available for free on this platform from the Open Beta!

How do I earn free keys for the Closed Beta?

During the three phases of the Closed Beta, we will be awarding a large number of keys to players selected at random from those registered on our website. We will also be awarding it regularly on all of our social networks: Twitter, Facebook[www.facebook.com], Instagram[www.instagram.com] and Discord[discord.gg].
As you will have understood, to increase your chances of receiving a key, just stay tuned!

Hi this is John can I suggest a double sized chess board mode for a massive battle type game example double all starting units not included king and queen Iv always wanted to try this or even a custom chess board size for huge army battles I think its a good idea no one has this yet....

Suggestion: Pogchamps chess tournament as an AD#

Hi dear people of Magic Games Studios, i have a tiny suggestion: The chess pogchamps 1 and chess pogchamps 2 was a massive twitch chess tournament that brought 30-45k viewers for a whole month. I think having an ad on the (highly likely) future pogchamps 3 tournament of your awesome looking game would be beneficial....
