picked this up and did the main campaign with a Thief botched the ending by not having all the planks.Started new game with Ranger on Sun temple got stuck in the sun temple middle floor. I can't seem to get to the gold key or find the green switch for the spikes to access the south of the floor. To my 2nd question once I beat the game can I use that character to start over with all the stats?...

I do believe I am softlocked on Tower Floor 6 with zero keys left. I ran through the whole map on floor 1-5 three times, there are no more keys I have access to. I need a silver key to proceed to the top right.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to progress, I found a frying pan that I gave someone. But it now seems that I need a pickaxe and/or a pump lever. But I can't find them.

I have only played Heroes of Hammerwatch, but I put in over 100 hours and very much enjoyed my time with it. Is this game's progression similar to HoH? I just picked up this and Hammerwatch 2 but I figured I should play this one first for obvious reasons. I'm around an hour in and I'm unsure if there is gonna be a hometown place where I do permanent upgrades, or if the upgrades I'm buying in my run are permanent, or if there even is a hometown, are there permanent buffs from playing the different character...

Okay, HOW?! Trying to get through the other scenarios besides Hammerwatch, and clearly they feel like they weren't designed with much thought about difficulty. I barely feel like beating them would be possible on Serious without save scumming for every life you have because restarting from checkpoints don't give nothing, so you may as well just start from scratch. Also, there's NOTHING to be found about anyone who's actually beaten this mode. Is this really just going to be cheesing monsters and hoping...
