Spirit City has been an absolute game changer for me. I have it on most mornings in the background to peacefully get ready to. It's also a great focus tool for working and a relaxing background for when I'm reading.

Spirit City offers so much customisation. There are lots of different outfit choices as well as decor options for each part of the room. You can change where your character is sitting and what activity they are doing to suit your mood. You can even change the lighting and weather to create the atmosphere you want. I'd like to add what a pleasant surprise it was that it was so easy to get the currency needed to buy these things - no predatory mechanics. My room and character looked exactly the way I wanted it to within the first couple of hours with plenty currency left over if I wanted a change.

Spirit City offers unbelievable depth and choice in this regard. There are 8 different lengthy playlists to choose from with different relaxing vibes to suit your mood. There are also a wide range of sounds you can add to the background, such as wind, thunder, cooking noises and a ton more including white, pink, and brown noise. All music and sounds are individually volume controlled and can be turned off at any point.

Useful tools including a to-do list, customisable pomodoro timer, habit tracker, and journal.

This is definitely not a "game" as such, but it does have a very cute spirit collecting aspect. To lure spirits, the game gives you hints about where to sit, what time of day it should be and what the weather should be like. Then you sit and wait. The game encourages you to have it on in the background rather than actively play it. It took me roughly around 18 hours to collect all spirits.

Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who likes chill background music and cosy vibes. One for those who love to customise, decorate, and collect. It's become such an ingrained part of my morning routine now and it honestly makes me feel so calm.

Usefull all-in-one tool for productivity with lofi playlists, youtube browser, to-do lists, pomodoro timer and more. The graphics and collectables are really cool and make for a cozy environment that makes you want to focus on your tasks. Good for neurodiverse individuals who need a body double.

Its a nice thing to help out if life is hectic and you dont feel like playing a game. I definitely reccomend mostly because of all of the little bells and whistles you get along with it. My only gripe is not enough character customization and clothing options.

More of a productivity tool/ music player than a game but a nice one nonetheless. Could use a lot more customization options (hairstyles for example).

Spent from November Until MARCH to get the last 50 level achieve. Literally just log in click the check box make the timer as short as you can and LEAVE IT OPEN AND FORGET ABOUT IT. I used to enjoy this game. I used to think this game was "fun". It helped keep track of some minor task time but honestly it takes longer to get things set up than it does to just use the clock app on my phone. :/ The pets are cute but I was DONE with this game back at level 20something. It's been SO LONG since something new happened in the game that I'm just annoyed with it. When the dlc comes out at least I'll have had 100% achieve for a couple weeks. Cute characters. MORE than enough options to decorate. Personally I did it ONCE and never touched the room again. Over 100 hours to get to level 50. Insane if you think about the fact that the only way to get these big exp boosts is the short short check list for the day. The rest of the time the exp bar basically doesn't move.

This game (if you could call it that) is amazing...

Design: The art style, character design, decorations, and spirit companions are all very cute. I love the optional dlc, which adds a little more spirit companion skins to the game. However, it is not needed, just wanted to show extra support. The only thing I wish is for more bedding options and a little more wallpaper and flooring options. Everything else has many options that can fit well with other designs.

Utility: This game has helped me tremendously, with staying focused and completing homework. Oh, the pomodoro timer is amazing, along with the to-do list feature. All of it helps to motivate me to finish my tasks. I worried that when I would unlock all of the spirit companions I would fall off using the game. That is not the case, I still use the game while working. The built in music is relaxing and the sound effects make it. I love rain noise, so that along with fire, thunder, and some creek noise is what I primarily listen to the music with. (There's plenty of options to choose from, with adjustable volumes for each. Along with different music playlists, all built-in to the game.) The game also has a built in youtube browser function, for listening to music. I do not use it though, as the lofi music in game is perfect for me.

Conclusions.. I am doing significantly better in college now. Whether that be my motivation or mental health improving, I know the game has also helped me to limit distractions and stay on task.
