Great background ambiance, very aesthetically pleasing as a wallpaper engine while not engaging.

I have this streaming to my living TV when I have company over and it provides amazing ambiance.

I don't personally use it for tasks and managing events and such but could definitely see the potential.

It is great for people with ADHD, or those who just want a little focus while they work. There is just enough interaction to provide a brief distraction, but not sidetrack you.

Spirit City lofi Sessions is a wonderful productivity video game made with absolute care that can help someone stay focused while working on a variety of projects. With lofi themes and a lot to customize, it's easy to open this game over and over.

PROS

That lofi soundtrack is real. Wonderful tracks that keep you focused and less stressed
Feeling unproductive on your schoolwork/projects? Take a 5-min break and obtain an achievement on SPlfs--guaranteed it'll help you keep going!
Adorable--and very inclusive I may add--character designs. Unleash your inner bookworm, scholar or creative spirit!
Includes an intuitive habit tracker, Pomodoro timer, and to-do list creator (with tasks checklist)
Has a player (located on the bottom) that is super intutive: allows you to change the tunes, add or remove ASMR sounds, and change the atmosphere to your liking
So much to unlock, which makes this game well worth the investment. Even if you unlock all aesthetics, there's just something about the wide array of combinations that you can do to your character, space, and companion that make this game such a gem.

CONS

Pace yourself with obtaining the achievements. You could easily obtain 100% achievements...
It can be hard sometimes to remember that this game has productivity mechanics. Sometimes. ha

I usually always have this on while reading/drawing or doing mundane tasks. The customisation is nice on both the character and the room itself. I really love be able to curate what exact sounds I wanna hear at what volumes. The music in the game is really nice too. All the little spirits are very cute! :)

Many hours will be added to my record for sure!

Perfect for when you are overwhelmed. I suffer from Task Paralysis and this has helped me get stuff done. It's still early days yet but this is super cool. A few things I would like to suggest are a mobile app and the ability to choose other music streaming services but awesome otherwise!

I love having a gamified productivity tracker! I work from home, most days, and having Spirit City helps me make my schedule and stay on task. Each work day, I setup my to do lists, work through tasks, and check things off in the game. When I want lofi music and/or relaxing sounds, I use the in-game audio player. I love the bright colors, decor, cute spirit companions, and in-game rewards for being productive! This "game" really makes my workday MUCH more fun :)

Cozy game/study buddy. I use it while I work from home; the background noises really help me concentrate and get in the work-zone. The personalization features are fun and give me a small break from work as well, ha ha
