I'll keep this brief.
Visually, this game is nothing to write home about, and might turn of some people at the first glance, but If you can see past that and give it a chance, then you'll be rewarded with a game that has some of the most entertaining gameplay I have seen in a video game within the last year.
It's got a simple old school jrpg style Story and Gameplay. But well, theres a reason those became the norm for a long time, cause they are just generally entertaining.
Overall, to me where this game shines is the freedom a player has, both in the sense of it being an open world title, as well as how you can build your characters, with each of them being able to learn whatever skills you find, and you being able to swap their classes to combine different skills to create your favorite combinations and builds.
