I bought it after EA release, it was good, somewhat unique and fun to play too.
Now we got some updates and.. what should i say?

The game is so bad now, i added it to my collection of "hated games".

Why you ask? First of all, the first EA release was a linear shooter with multiple weapons, some perks and meta progression. Fine and good even tho a bit more on the grindy site.

Now we have a totally different game, the original EA is now called "classic mode".

The only shared thing we now have is multiple weapons. The game still does have perks and meta progression but the developers changed the whole aspect on how to play and how to progress more than 5 times already. I'm not talking about some slight changes or adding/removing some pits and pieces; no! They redone the meta progression more than 5 times, always different, always forcing us to grind the game even more and with every change resetting everything, except the last update as of writing that review. Also we now have multiple characters.. which plays totally the same.. and we have to level them. You guessed meta progression is global? Well it was, but now its to each character. And its so damn grindy. You get close to no points for successful runs and yet, the developers added ridiculously achievements to level up every character to level 125+. As I said, you gain close to nothing for each run so be sure to invest hundreds of hours just for those.
Also we have now maps to freely move around in the "new" survivors mode instead of linear maps, while this sounds good, its actually not. The maps are bad, the design is terrible and they are not fun to play. The spawns are very badly placed, bosses can spawn at the other end of the map and hit you without you being able to get them first. The game is unforgiving and heck of grindy, yes i repeat myself.

Also the developers likes to change achievements whenever they thing to do so. Meaning your 100% completion rate is never save. Good job guys... not!

This is not the game i bought earlier anymore. Its something totally different. Its a grind simulator with no replay value whatsoever. The leaderboards are filled with cheaters every time. Doesn't make fun.

Guess that's what I get for supporting an EA title. I wanted to wait for the full release but nope, it wont change my opinion.
Bad game, stay away. Developers went to ignore list.
