The game feels like a prototype that was never finished into a cohesive game. You just grind the same races on and on to level up you driver license. Destruction system is fine and there are some collectibles scattered around the city, but it felt mostly tideous.

I feel like Criterion never had a solid chance to implement anything they wanted. They made a lot of the same stuff for Need For Speed Most Wanted (2012), which feels in its similarity and unfinishness a lot like Burnout Paradise.
