ASTRA: Knights of Veda

Portrait unrealistically hard and time demanding (beyond floor 16)
Enemy scaling is way better than Graces, considering "medium" investment characters, it gets waaaaaaay too hard beyond floor 16 and goes worse by any floor.

Other issue is how long it takes, since autoplay sucks, you kinda have to manual play these levels. If we have to play that every week, it is just impossible to not get burnout in 2, 3 weeks.

Currently i'm at floor 20, probly won't go beyond because my fully built characters have no strength against the floor bosses, but still, i'm constantly top 20~40 Europe in battlefield of the gods, so you can tell my characters aren't all that awful.

Idk, the system needs to be less of a time investment and the difficulty could prob be smoothed out a bit. Let me know what you guys think and how you feel with the system so far.

If anything else happens that I know of or anything, i'll update progress here and so on, ty.

Its a mode for end game players, so I think It should be hard. Beside the portrait, there is no real end game content right now, If the upcomming raid and hell mode are this hard, It will be good for the game.
I just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate the permanent respawning adds in the boss fights. Worst ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mechanic from the black mutation stages and some intern thought it'd be a "good idea" to use again. They need removed ASAP.

Mobs also hit so hard that you don't even see the green hp bar go down either, you just suddenly have 10% wounds instantly, lol. Kind of silly tbh. At that point it's not even a wounds system, it's just "you have an hp bar and healers don't exist."

The blessings, as you say, are a joke. "Enemy HP just doubled, here's .9% extra dmg on a weird conditional you probably won't have active more than three times in the fight and it also has a 20s cooldown just in case you thought there was a chance in hell we'd let it work with another blessing. You're welcome."

Its super nice to have some really hard end game content. You are not supposed to clear this with medium investment, you are supposed to have new accessories, high level halo, good relics and high level el cid, multiple supports, all element dps'ers and good tanks.

This is the mode we build characters for, this is the reason to fine tune our gear.

Agree to everything said so far, that feels good to be challenged and everything.

I think the release of both upgrade systems with low income f2p allow this huge gap between the content and our power.

Tho, still, for the healthy of the replayability, the powers either need to be stronger, or we should be allowed a "skip" type of thing to the floor we did the previous time, cause imagine the time it takes now, but doing it every week, manually, won't be for "most people". Even if I agree that it is fun and everything "for the first couple of times", it would be tiring and too demanding even for strong, heavy invested players.

I agree that 27 floors is "a lot".

I'm sure the devs monitor the situation and if it is too much they will adjust it somehow as times goes on. They seem to respond well to the community.
Also agree that the powers are a bit uninspired, specially considering the main inspiration for this seems to be Honkai Starrail, and in that game the powers are very cool and impactful.

Hopefully they will add more over time, i see no reason not to keep adding to this mode with new powers, ways to skip if already cleared and so on. Maybe even find consumables and relics, altough thats more of a "hope" from my side than something i think they will actually add.

Their speed in adding content is somewhat good. I kinda believe they'll hold back a bit on "ways to upgrade characters", as both Halo and El Cid seem too strong and too new for something else to be added for a while, so that mode's diff will also smooth out with time.

Let's see what they cook, but I do believe that they should add at least a skip clear weekly based on -x floors from ur max clear or something, to smooth out the grind. Idk, we'll see

You have to gear up the element res necklaces with % bleed substat for each floor boss
Next month we will have real raid with 6 bosses then on september we will have hellmode bosses. Which are even harder. On season 2 on October we will have world bosses.
I am at floor17 and starting from here, the bosses require FULL FLEX elemental damage and resistance. I've only started to realize now, so the game does not forgive, untill reset then.

Got up to floor 18 tonight before reset. Phew. My team was still perfectly healthy but man that wore me out on the other side of the ol' monitor.

I stopped trying to tailor my teams to the floor weakness after like floor 13 or so. It just wasn't worth the effort anymore.

managed to get to floor 20 boss this time, got to floor 16 boss last time.
Not half bad, im happy with that.

It's getting kinda intense...
Death Crown is so good in there.
They buffed portrait from where it was the first time around, seems like they weren't happy that people that played religiously or whaled were able to finish it without whaling for El Cids.

Having decently geared characters is not enough on the last few levels anymore, you gotta have elemental counter and either 5 star dps or pretty damn optimized relics to even be able to damage things.
