Does anyone know what is the number of the last version from old gameplay?
Years ago I played this game in my friend house and I wanted to play again, but its like a different game now, but since I wasn't following the updates I don't know in which version the game changed, so I wanted to play the latest version before the gameplay changed.

if you want to play the old game, right click the game in your steam library, go to properties, click on betas, and select herosiege1 from the dropdown list ^_^

If it's the version where defeating monsters results in piles of gold and treasure dropping, then it's version 1.2.2.5 or any earlier version.

Wrong.

The so-called Hero Siege 1 is still a Diablo clone. Hell, the Beta branch is version 5.x.x, I think the last version to use the original gameplay was 1.3.x.x.

The original Hero Siege was a twin stick shooter RPG with roguelite elements. And there's no way to play it legally anymore.

Anyway. you can use the Steam Depot to download any older version.

I'm playing the 1.3.1.1 version, which is still a wave based twin stick shooter RPG, and still doesn't have that HUB area they added later.
