Since the game has just released, I think this is the right time to do this. I was one of the Play-Tester for this game. After a lot of hours in Lowell Orphanage, I can pretty much confidentaly say this is the definitive ghost hunting experience. If u thought Phasmophobia was scary, prepare yourself for something far more terrifying xD (1st things first- SCAN THE QR CODES INGAME... Thank me later xD )

The core gameplay loop is addictive - identify and expel malevolent spirits before they consume u..... These ghosts follow solid, learnable mechanics that reward careful study and observation... Each ghost type requires multiple pieces of evidence checked repeatedly for confirmation... (my favourite is ankou rn xD u'll know why when u play hehe)
Co-op (1-4 players) is where this game truly shines... The teamwork required to survive is intense, creating memorable moments of both terror and triumph. Solo play is possible but more challenging imo.. I havent played it solo yet.
The game is packed with hidden gems that reward exploration, from disturbing lore fragments to eerie collectibles for the mysterious Shady Dealer <3

Four perfectly balanced difficulty levels:

• Emma (Easy): Perfect for newcomers with fewer rooms and forgiving ghost behavior
  
• Margreth (Medium): The sweet spot for casual sessions
  
• Robert (Hard): Where things get serious - larger areas, smarter ghosts (this one is my favourite lol)
  
• Alex (Insane): Not for the faint of heart - maximum rooms, hyper-aggressive spirits, minimal safe zones

You can also choose between-> Too young to die, Normal and Hard Mode.
The difficulty scaling feels natural, offering progressively greater challenges without unfair spikes.

Absolutely stunning. The photo-realistic environments make every corner of the orphanage feel authentic and truly haunted. Dynamic lighting casts terrifying shadows, dense fog limits visibility at the perfect moments, and the ghost models will haunt your dreams (I have had robert's choo choo istg)
The attention to detail in the environment storytelling deserves special praise - every room tells part of the orphanage's tragic history + The little notes that are scattered everywhere are just a cherry on top hehe <3


Pure nightmare fuel lmfao.... Children screaming, laughing, and whispering directly into your ears. Footsteps that aren't yours. Breathing when you're alone. The spirit box interactions are especially terrifying - asking questions and hearing a child's voice (i wont say which xD Each main ghost has their own voices) respond directly to you creates an immersion that's unmatched in any other ghost hunting game.
The sound design apart from creating atmosphere.... is also an essential gameplay mechanic cause it provides crucial information.
A headset isn't optional - it's mandatory for survival lol

Between the randomized hauntings, different ghost behaviors, and the four difficulty levels, no two investigations feel the same. The progression system with the equipment garage gives you something to work toward, and the hidden collectibles provide extra incentive to explore every dark corner.
+ If u do not want to ghost hunt, u can always play Mini games.

• Demanding System Requirements: Those gorgeous visuals demand decent hardware. The game always uses 100% of my GPU.
  
• Solo Play Limitations: While still terrifyingly fun alone, the game design clearly favors team play
  
• Learning Curve: Expect to die repeatedly while mastering the more complex ghost mechanics
  
• Miscellaneous Bugs : The game is new. Just released infact. There will be bugs haha. Just report if u find one... The devs are very good with feedback.

Lost Lullabies: The Orphanage Chronicles has ruined other ghost hunting games for me lol... It's raised the bar by a lot xD Even if we ignore the jump scares... it has this sustained psychological horrorish feeling that will leave you checking the corners of your own home.....
If you want a truly terrifying co-op experience that you'll be talking about long after the session ends, this is essential.

Lost Lullabies - The Orphanage Chronicles is a perfect game for horror lovers. The atmosphere is incredible and the ghosts… If you think, "I love horror games" this one will put you to the test. More complex more detailed than other past rivals. Lost Lullabies does better than what they do. More detailed map more detailed ghosts more ways to identify ghosts. There are some tricks to one shot some of the ghosts. Among the new games Lost Lullabies best way to satisfy co-op horror hunger.

Optimization is terrible. No matter the graphics settings in game I get the same results. 60-90 frames, sometimes up to 115. It does not have stable frames which causes the stutter/lag of movement during frame drops. PC specs are custom built high end (for its time) AMD 5950x, RTX3090, 64GB Ram, NVME drive, 1600w psu. No issues of the sort on other games, just this one. Also if I set graphics setting to lowest (Potato) it gets worse and wont go above 45 fps. Where is the ability to fine tune to correct issues like this. Why only the super minimal graphics settings. Will be refunding.
