Game crashing at turn 2-4 after last update.
Anyone else having issues with game completely crashing on the first couple of turns since the last update?
I can found the first city, begin to explore the map, but at about turn 4 it crashes to desktop.

Previously played hundreds of hours without a problem, it's not my pc. :handsup:
Have tried a fresh install of the game and still same issue.

Love this game though so really hope there is a known fix.

Try going to /Documents/MyGames/OldWorld/ and delete gameOptionsSave.xml file. That'll reset the options.

What are your system specs? We have had a couple of instances recently of Old World crashes being caused by defective high end intel CPUs.

Are the crashes happening during your turn or after ending your turn? If the latter then turning on the Slow AI option in the UI settings may help if it is a CPU related issue.

Thank you! :) It made a difference turning on the Slow AI option.
