Still, not being able to play single player without updating is stupid and anti-consumer. Makes me glad I paid so little.
Where did the game ever advertise as an offline game ?
F grow up and if you want to pick a fight go over pixionic , blizzard activision , etc ... you know it well.
Or the well known scammers too ex : most nft games or the people who made the "bless" mmo games etc ... .
Now i agree that the game itself has alot of solo content wich means that making an offline update would make sense and be great.
Tho being an ass and dishonest while being incompetent to the point of not being able to read nor make a quick search isn't the way to go.
You should feel ashamed and reflect on yourself.
Next time make a polite suggestion instead and act civilised while cooling your head off before speaking, it's f common sense for god sake.
ps : Also being able to download some online content localy to use it offline would be nice too like for exemple : the ai's and bots from other players to battle against.
Sorry for speaking the truth, I guess.
What I said in the OP was what I believed. I downloaded the game through a launcher, not from the website. I assumed the game was old.
What are the chances of it getting an update just a few days after me downloading it?
I opened its steam page - news, saw recent news. I opened Itch.io, scrolled down, saw news being years old. Dates on download files don't appear unless you click the download button.
That was my mistake (and itch.io's), sure, and if it locked me out of opening multiplayer, I would have been absolutely fine with that.
Even better, would be joining specific matches could require specific version (Could include modded versions and that's how strategy games usually do it),
But locking even the tutorial behind "You need to update" is really, really stupid.
