I really love this game. Great combat, music, world, yadayada.. you've probably heard this a hundred times. And it's all true. But I wanna point out the small things that they get right. As someone who is easily overstimulated, this game has been very easy to get into. Everything from the minimalistic menu design that gives you just enough control without being overwhelming, to how they introduce the characters in bite sizes, to how they teach you the mechanics at just the right pace, to how the game doesn't install anticheat on your system (personal pet peeve i have with other games.)
The items show up on the map once you have seen them in the game world, so I never worry about missing anything. The controls feel very smooth. They even introduce menu options to you in small chunks at a time, so you're never overwhelmed by any mechanics. I even enjoy the loading screens! They show you no more than 2 sentences explaining stuff about the world and the characters. You can choose to automatically skip or stay on the menu until you are done reading if you saw something interesting. I really appreciate this level of attention to detail. I just started playing a couple of days ago, so this is only my first impression. But I can tell that the devs really made a game that respects your time. I can start the game and have my daily 1 hour of fun, then just go back to my day. No stress. It's just fun and easy to get into.

Game is not "bad". The problem is that I expected a cool adventure-driven action RPG and it turns out this is just a Monster Hunter type game (which I don't really enjoy). So, if you are like me and don't like MH games, stay away from this one.

The story started off good, but it just went way down the toilet.
