Dropping conquest is understandable, but dropping what feels like *all* emphasis on the single player experience to focus on multiplayer that remains inaccessible to all but the sweatiest of us is a big disappointment for someone who has been here since the start.

Game was awesome but the devs have backtracked on their promise for a single player conquest mode in favor of the vocal minority of fans who love the meta spamming multiplayer.

So if you like to just get bodied by people who no life the game and be rewarded with absolutely nothing for your time then this game is for you.

At least we have the incredibly broken alpha stage of conquest that was released with no support right guys?

I massively regret buying Early Access game again.
I play, try to get good at multiplayer so I know the game before single player conquest releases. Its multiplayer only right now so you need to join discord etc
I don't particularly enjoy multiplayer, a lot of the players are incredibly toxic, especially towards new players.
But I stick with it, waiting on each devlog, and conquest looks great!
Suddenly conquest cancelled, no plans for future attempts at it, and multiplayer only will be the only option for a few years.
Can't refund because I spent too long trying to learn the game in preparation to play it.
I absolutely would never have brought this game if I wasn't attracted by the conquest devlogs it is really the only reason I brought it. Multiplayer skirmish only is really not going to cut it.
Ive checked their devlogs a couple times since, seems like they are just plowing ahead with this dumb decision, carriers are the single future planned feature, nothing else im aware of.
I will probably never be touching another early access game directly because of Nebulous
