It's okay, guys. They do it all the time and will keep doing it as long as this achievement is a thing. Just be patient and tell them to read the first pinned discussion. It's not their fault Valve doesn't explain it properly in the achievement's description. Some research and reading before asking for help are very much appreciated, however.

Of course we can. But GGN is only achievable during an on-going free weekend, and that's entirely up for Valve to do. Unless one happens, it's pretty much impossible to obtain it.
