Many of you may know me, for gifting GA's to a group!

With more and more members sharing on steamgifts, I felt a need to clean-up the group from bots. So I changed a bit the metrics and I think we got rid of most of them. In the beginning a lot of them joined when the group was fully public. This is also why every new member has to ask and apply before he can enter:

Furthermore you can recommend/vouch for new members, if you think they might be a good fit for our group.

Old Anti-Bot-Announcement #1:
I see more and more members are sharing their GAs on SG with the group, therefore I feel a bit responsible to clear the group from possible bots and people who might be not interessted in the cause or adventure games. This group is mainly intended to talk and promote adventure and story rich games in general.

Some people got already removed based on a combination of indicators. Fortunately the number of those is quite small :) Here are some indicators I used, to show that I didn't go full paranoid and tried to be reasonable:

- Participation/Activity in the group
- Overall SG-ratio
- High number of won GAs marked as "not received"
- Exzessive number of joined groups
- Expression of gratitude after a win
- Date of the last GA created on SG
- Violating rules written in GAs
- GA-Contribution in our group (only to weight against other negative indicators)
- ...


The indicators are not set as hard facts, so I will not disclose further the details, since that would be counterproductive.

On a positive note, I will try to share more GAs exclusive for the group with low CV-lvl and reduce the number of public GAs and GAs shared with other groups in the new year.
