Thanks for the feedback! This is something we are going to be looking into fixing actually. It is definitely annoying to be voted guilty, and having to stick around the extra few seconds before you can leave without being punished.

We are looking to make the system ignore players who are essential queued up for death already. This would be things like NEs that have won but haven't left the town yet, things like Vig or Pros that killed a townie, and players that have been voted guilty, but haven't been hanged yet.
