A familiar experience if you played Budokai games back in the day. It's nostalgic fun through the several campaigns. The What If episodes are (for the most part) highly entertaining and the fanservice is on point.
Music, artstyle, gameplay, are highlights.
Now, the difficulty. Some fights are easy enough during the campaign, but there are several difficulty spikes that I can understand a lot of people may not enjoy or have the time for. This game really wants people to learn the mechanics and "git gud", which for some people is not worth the hassle or the money, totally understandable (Ape Vegeta was a wall, but there's fights in campaigns like Frieza's or Goku Black, that are way tougher).
There are a few gameplay hiccups, nothing too major, but supers sometimes don't work if you're in the middle of a combo.
The worst part I'd say is the online, I had no interest in it to begin with, but It was taking a while, and when I did, it didn't feel smooth. I only did a few matches and gave up, just my personal experience on it, can't comment much, take it as it is.
Overall, It's a great Fighting DBZ game, lot of options for campaigns, tounaments, gameplay is solid fun from the Budokai Series. It's a good return, expensive but worth it for any dbz fan with time and patience to learn or relearn the mechanics.

It keeps getting better the longer it's played, and the more updates it gets. It had a rough start, and it still shows a lot more potential to be better. But at this point, it's an easy recommendation, really fun and good community too. Music is one of the best OSTs in years, alongside DMC5 or DOOM. The Emperor Protects.

This was my GOTY 2019 for a couple of reasons. Honestly, there's not much to say that hasn't been said already about it, it is definitely Devil May Cry, back at its best, I'd even go as far as to say this is THE BEST dmc game ever made (ask me that in about 10 years from now, we'll see). Got my hopes up for more like this, definitely a great purchase, and an amazing game.

Oh? reviewing, right... So, gameplay, hack'n'slash done right, Every Combo is really satisfying, although i would say you get SSS ranks really easily this time around (V is the SSS mash buttons to win character for sure)

Music is really awesome as well. At first i was kinda distracted by the main song being a bit different, but it fits so well, and it's so good, it's on my playlist for when I go out to jog!

Graphics are RE Engine, very lifelike, pretty colors but kinda dark. Sets a good tone for the story and its characters.

And characters? Well, Deadweight Nero is back, and more badass than ever! V is a solid new addition, sometimes almost comical how much goth he is, kinda reminds me of the goth kids in South Park. Don't really need to talk about Dante, right? Main man of the franchise, he's the same good OLD Dante, in every way of the word, really. he's really old now.

Not much downsides I can see here if i'm honest, you'll want a nice pc to run this game to its perfection, Combos are easier to pull off, I guess hardcore fans may not like that ? I really don't remember playing this and going:: "that really sucks" at any point in the game.

I highly recommend this game, even for newcomers of the series, cause why not! i'm just really happy for Devil May Cry to be back and better than ever.

Incredibly easy to recommend, especially with the price reduced so much during the summer sale. Story is interesting, gameplay is fun and the open world is entertaining. it's a gorgeous game even by to todays standards as well. So, if you never played it, here's your chance, go for it, I have no doubt anyone can play and enjoy this one. Probably one of the best deals on this summer sale too

Do you like reading? As in, do you like any sort of literature? This game, or rather, the story in this game, is 100% a must for you to read and experience. World building at its finest, characters steadily develop and welcome you more and more into the world in Pyre. Won't say anything else about the story, because I'd like everyone to go into this as blind as I did, so let me just deal a final card about it: I have played and read a gazilion of stories in my steam and not steam library, and this one, will not be forgotten.

Aesthetic and sound... it's a "Supergiant" game, it's common knowledge by now that their work is amazing in those departments. I like the vibrant colours in this one, and the music sets the mood perfectly, chill, with feeling, nothing wrong here, as per usual.

Gameplay, it's a 3v3 football (soccer for the US peeps) with RPG elements, depending on your choice of team, you may fare really well, or just be confronted by an outright superior team. It depends on skill mostly, the AI is competent enough, and I'd recommend playing on the harder difficulties, so it provides a better challenge.

The only fault I find with Pyre, is the lack of online multiplayer. Not being able to play with my online friends, knowing how fun it is to play with my "local" friends, makes it a frustrating missing aspect.

Overall, story is excelent, gameplay is really fun, especially on harder difficulties, I highly reccomend this game with sale or no sale, although at this point, might as well wait for the discount to show up. Do you like to read? well, reader, this one's for you. You don't like to read ? Not my place to judge, but do give this one a try, it might surprise you after a while.

while not necessarily 40€ worth of gameplay/overall fun, game is actually solid, no bugs or glitches on my end, but there are some peeps getting them.

Gameplay-wise, it's intuitive and responsive, (when you actually play it... you'll find that about 30% of the time, the game "plays itself"), this however, does not apply to sonic 2d, which is by far the worst part of the entire game, 2d platforming feels awful, especially since sonic mania came out a bit before this one (actually, why is there even old sonic here? Mania is all we need).

Good bit though, and the saving grace, customization! I did not want this, I actually was not gonna buy it because of it, but, actually, it's really well made and thought out, a lot of clothes, acessories, different weapons to suit your playstyles and making experiments with gameplay.

If you get in for the story, you won't find much, alot of levels, most of them different in design, some redesigns here and there, pretty much every level can be beaten in less than 2 or 3 minutes, though you can replay them for collectibles and leaderboards.

Will recommend because I've enjoyed it, and probably will get back to it once or twice more, but with a warning, wait for a sale, play to have fun, don't take it seriously, and especially, get Sonic Mania first!

Edit - Sonic's voice actor here was top notch, really well played, characterization was on point.

You get DOOM (first one, of course), DOOM II, an enhanced DOOM 3 and both the expansions for it (Ressurection Of Evil, and Lost Mission), that alone is worth a couple hours of your playtime, for sure. I've played the original version (back when you had either the flashlight, or a gun in hand, because horror I guess), and the BFG Edition, and the latter is much superior, not only because of DOOM95 and DOOM II, but because overall, it is upgraded, in graphics (much prettier, and to me at least, seemed more "vivid" in some way or other), in gameplay (flashlight AND a gun at the same time?? Wow!), and even in story, since it has both expansions, so all in all, highly recommend this, either you're an old DOOM veteran, or you just picked up the new DOOM(2016), this is for sure a must. If you never played any DOOM game... well what are you waiting for...? I mean, really, now's the time, go to hell and kill a cyberdemon! Oh, and also, Super Turbo Turkey Puncher.... 3!!!
