I think after 200 hours of playtime, I can confidently say that Hypercharge: Unboxed is one of my favorite videogames. It gets so many things right, and it's clear the devs put a ton of work and love into the game. Modern games are rushed out the door and incomplete messes. Hypercharge is well polished and full of diverse maps and unlockables.

The graphics are just beautiful and the attention to detail is insane, everything is well modeled + textured and it really shows off what the UE4 can do. You really do feel like a small toy in a big world, which makes exploring the maps more fun. Even after all this time I'm still finding new things to discover!

The gunplay is like a mixture of Quake and Halo; the movement is smooth and the guns feel punchy. The main game's mode is co-op wave defense where you must collect money, weapons, and batteries for upcoming waves of enemies. You also can choose pvp style deathmatch and infection mode, all of which support offline bots or you can play online with friends/random people. There's tons of things to unlock such as player models, heads, skins, weapon skins, and names to really make your action figure your own!

The sound design is nice as each of the toys sound unique, the guns sound punchy, the music is catchy, and the voice acting is very British. There's nice calm tracks for building time between waves and hype tracks during combat. It seems very 80s/90s inspired mixed with something you'd hear in early 2000s game like Timesplitters.

And yeah, I think this game is great!!!!!
