I find the title of your review confusing. I think open world games tend to be tremendously boring since it often forgoes good level design, and hardly any developers seem to understand how to design around making an open world interesting. This is a large part of why I feel Elden Ring doesn't hold a candle to any SoulsBorne game. It just feels sloppily designed and like a chore.
