I'm a big fan of games that offer me a lot of depth of customization to explore.
This puts good character-development driven RPGs at the top of my list. The more (non-gear based) character development the better. I wasn't a big fan of the very popular Baldur's Gate, for example, because the level cap was too low but I was a huge fan of Diablo II.

Complex strategy and simulation games also are beloved. Predominately turn-based for strategy games, because the real time ones offer far less depth and breadth. Sim City, The Sims, Civilization, Galactic Civilization...these are the kinds of games that give me the thick, juicy meat I can sink my teeth into.

@smurfy, seems so. And here I thought I was doing people a favor by giving them a heads up about a deal that they might like. I guess Valve just doesn't like people sharing info about a competitor...

I have Space Haven on my watch and wishlist, but no plans to buy it any time soon. Gifting wouldn't help, because I only mod for games that I'm actively playing and what I actively play is more about my current whims and moods than anything else. Thank you for your kind words though, @Endspire.

I love your Stranded: Alien Dawn mods ++Rep. Have you looked into doing anything with "The Last Haven" and/or "Space Haven"? I'd be willing to gift these games and offer monetary incentive if you enjoy them well enough to do some lite modding with. Let me know. :zagpls:

Heya, @Vinh Mychau. I do not have any such tutorial and, honestly, I don't even remember how to do it at this point. I just remember it involves save file editing. Sorry I could not be more help.
