Early Access Review
So release day has arrived. I am writing this with 134 hours on record over the past 3 or 4 years of development and I will be speaking of the game in its current state and will update it when it reaches 1.0.

The games background extends back to the glory days of tactical shooters late nineties and early 2000,s, it is somewhat of a throwback to the Rainbow six, Rogue Spear, Ghost Recon, Swat , H&D2 and is definitely trying to follow that type of tactical shooter gameplay while adding current day content and its own take on things.

Currently you have the option of Coop, TDM, DM and SP through a variety of maps in different locations. There are also four training maps, two with configurable metal targets to hone your skills. There are four coop maps from woodland, a facility in the desert and a full tankership to explore. The AI currently is a little rough around the edges but still brutal and it will take planning and teamwork to be able to complete a terrorist hunt mission.

One of the stand out features which you can see is this game is the customization, its not EFT in depth but creates a middle ground which I think many will find desirable. I can honestly say thus far in Coop (don't play much tvt myself) it is extremely fun and challenging cqc is reminiscent of rogue spear / OGR (of which The chief developer was level designer on).

Certainly at this current build (1023) there is more than enough for you to do and content is always being added, future plans will add some more flesh to the game e.g. new maps, friend AI support, different insertion types. So I recommend you take the plunge!

While the game is somewhat playable in its current state, the ammount of time it took to get there is downright insulting.
Not to mention the fact that such a crucial feature for a good game, like the enemy AI, has been left in an attrocious semi-garbage state for 15+ years. It's inexcusable.
Now, the game is facing a very big problem. It took so long to develop, that it will look and feel like an old-gen game by release.
IMO, this one is a hopeless case

Good things come to those who wait, things should be going faster with GB devs
considering they got a couple new guys on the team.

Nice review Jeza, i may buy this as im a big fan of arma as you know, as well as R6 Ravenshield, i love MOUT & CQB type themes and what i like to play in arma3, aside the other features i would hope to use the game not only for fun and entertainment but to help better my skills in an area i been working on for many years, thanks for your review.
Ps i know you have vids of this on your utube channel so i have been watching some of them, even seen your posts if i recall on Bis forums in the offtopic section. Cheers!
