The original 3 Spyro games are my most beloved and are what got me into gaming and art. I never thought I'd see the day where they'd be remastered - especially so beautifully. TFB really put their heart and soul not only into keeping the remaster faithful to the original but also taking it that extra step to ensure it's just as fun and heartwarming to play now as it was in the 90's.

These games meant the world to me growing up. The skyboxes, dragon designs, Spyro's design and the soundtrack have all been given a new coat of paint without layering over what made the originals so charming and memorable in the first place. I actually cried when I saw Dark Hollow remastered! I actually imagined it to be a maze as a little girl, and they added mazes to the background! A little thing, but it shows how much thought went into this. They even added Spyro's tail wiggle as he glides too as little things like this are what people remembered so fondly about the originals. On top of the little things, TFB made a wonderful choice hiring Nicholas Kole to redesign many of the dragons. He's one of my favourite artists.

I've played the Insomniac Spyro Trilogy for 20 years and I'll happily give it 20 more with this remaster. I adore it. It'll forever be my go-to game for comfort and relaxation. Thank you for bringing my childhood hero back to life. <3
