Game feels kinda rough, compared to 1. It feels a good bit harder, and more akin to a Soulslike.
I honestly would wait until the game releases for free, to play it. I wouldn't bother spending money in it's current state.

Edit: So after playing for a bit more and making it into Cruel, I still feel the game needs tuning but it's fun enough if you have the right build/gear. It's definitely worth trying if you don't mind bashing your head against things for the first... 20ish levels?
