Despite the issues at the beginning of the launch, the devs have been putting consistent updates out and tweaking things with every patch. With the current patch, they added New Game+ as well as a few other things. I've had little to no issues framerate-wise since their first patch to fix the problem, and I've only seen better and better performance every time a patch comes out.

While it is a linear game with not much replay value, the game itself was fun to play through with almost the same feelings as the original Dead Space. There are jump scares, disgusting environments, and, while there are usually plenty of supplies, it does a great job at giving you them right as you need them. Having played through once, and currently going through on the Maximum Security difficulty, there's still moments where the game gets tense and you feel the adrenaline kick in as you're fighting the experiments.

That being said, while I do enjoy the melee aspect, once you understand the enemy melee attack patterns, it's pretty easy to consistently fight two, three, or even four enemies with little to no trouble, which I feel kind of dampens the difficulty quite a bit.

Overall, I enjoyed my first playthrough and am currently enjoying my 2nd. Because of NG+, I'll likely also be going for a 3rd, but I feel it may become a chore by then since cutscenes arent skippable and there are many slow parts in the game.

Do I recommend the game? Yes, 100%. Do I recommend you go in with the hopes that it's Dead Space reborn and expect it to be the best game ever made? No. As the first game from a new studio, expecting perfection is absurd.

Nice and easy idler. Unless you want your scientists to survive. Good luck on that one. 10/10 would mine again.

I'd like to preface this with a statement regarding all of the people who are bashing the Resident Evil 3 Remake.
Yes, it's got a bit of content cut out and areas missing that are present in the original RE3:Nemesis. Yes it's more action oriented compared to the Resident Evil 2 Remake.

That being said, Resident Evil 3 is a glorious game. The atmosphere, map, weapons, enemies, characters, and general feel of the game is great. It feels like a city that's been ravaged by the undead and left in ruins because people tried to evacuate without a second thought.

Resident Evil 3 definitely is more action oriented than RE2R, however, if anyone has ever played the original Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, you'd realize that it, too, was more action oriented over the previous release. This game is absolutely fantastic.

Nemesis, though he looks quite different than the original, is just as menacing as he was in the OG game.
Jill is a great character. She's confident, strong, and well aware of her skills and experience in these situations. People want to bash her because she makes smart comments toward Carlos and other characters, but if you played the previous games with her in it, you'd know that she has firsthand experience in these situations and has been betrayed before so she plays it cautiously with who she trusts.

The entire game overall was great and very well put together, and is tied for my favorite RE game with the OG RE3 being alongside it. I'd definitely recommend playing it if you're not going to be expecting the dark, eerie, and horror-esque feeling that RE2R gave. 10/10 game.

Great port, but obviously plays better with a controller, since that's what it was originally set up for. Replayability is great since everything carries over to a new game.

Story is good, gameplay is fun, and the whole game overall is entertaining. Psychos, survivors, cultists, etc are all done pretty well, seeing as it's the first game in the series, and they only get better and better.

Worst thing about the game is the survivor AI. They constantly get stuck on objects, zombies, and other people. The constant whining of certain characters can get annoying as well, but at least it lets you know that they are in the area and need saving!
