Early Access Game currently, but with the promise of close community communication via the Discord and other forms of communication.

I'm biased, as I've been paying attention to SCP: FM for the past 5 years from when it was conceived as an idea to the massive amount of work done the past year to finally create Chapter 01.

The puzzles take advantage of anyone who overthinks-- you will get lost if you don't settle down and look at the obvious. I love this, because as an overthinker it snaps my brain to focus on what I'm overlooking.

The voice acting is top tier for the most part. The performances, especially from some of the MTF team and the PC are brilliant. Bare bones dialogue, yet, they invest into the experience. (The guy who voices Trager is lame. I bet he's writing a review right now. You're probably reading it.)

The combat takes a bit to get used to. It doesn't make you aware that there is a parry mechanic at all, but once you figure out the parry mechanic-- it becomes a very fun and rewarding experience... if you can't figure it out, then dealing with things in a more stealthy, subtle approach is very possible.

Overall: If I wasn't biased, then I would say Chapter 01 is an impress 3 hour experience well worth the $10.

If I was (and am) biased-- I'd say you should buy it, especially when it's on sale. Speedrunning this is gonna be dang fun.
