A must play if you like survival games. Definitely worth playing for it's gameplay mechanics and heavy emphasis on exploration on both caves (there're 10 main caves + another 6) and surface (mutant camps). For first timers, i'd suggest starting on hard mode to highlight decision making during your approaches. This is not your usual "follow along" story as you have to collect pictures, documents, tapes etc., to understand what's going on (the story sucks btw). This game can be both funny and frustrating at times... for example, throwing a dynamite on the ground or at least hoping it hits the ground because sometimes the dynamite just goes through it, or spamming the jump button while hugging walls to become spiderman. There is no New Game+. There are 2 endings, one being the true ending (you go back to the main menu and from there you can load the last save point) and the other one is the alternate ending which is just a way to continue playing the game after you finished it.

Some tips:
1- If you diagonal jump your motion is slightly amplified.
2- The first time the player dies, a short cutscene plays, showing two cannibals dragging the player away, you then wake up in a cave (cave 2) containing a map, a compass and the modern axe (extremely useful weapon), so don't be afraid to die.
